Simply letting a wine bottle stay uncorked will produce a batch of vinegar. However the production process for these world reknown vinegars is much more comlexed. Traverso vinegars are made from only the finest Chilean wine.

The balsamic vinegar (12 stars) is a thick, sweet smelling vinegar made from the pure and unfermented juice of a grape called the "must." Although different varieties of grapes can be used to create balsamic vinegar, the Trebbiano grape, native to Modena, Italy, is the most common. We believe that once you taste the difference you will agree with us that using only them in your cooking is a "must".

Vinegar is a remarkable versatile product, with more than 300 uses. Frequently it is believed that vinegar can only be used in the kitchen, as a salads and food companion. However, it can be used as flavor enhancer, meat tenderizer, natural food preserver, and natural antiseptic element.
