There are countless versions of different pickle in India with each region having its own host of recipes. Many varieties include Mango, Lime, Chili, Carrot, Apple and Aubergine.
Pictured (top left) is 'Kavannah Mild Lime Pickle' which is similar to pickle that originates from the Northern state of Uttar Pradesh and is often eaten with stuffed parathas (Indian bread) and yoghurt.
